Paleo Discovery: Sat 28th & Sun 29th Aug
Weekend Event – Demonstration: 12pm – Meet at Stable yard
A Whole weekend of flint knapping, bow making and ancient crafts.
Entrance fee applies – Suitable clothing required.
Duration: Week end, afternoons 12 noon – 5pm
Children must be accompanied by an adult.

September

The Wet One!: Mon 6th Sep
River Clean Up: 2pm – Meet at Stable yard
A chance to get really wet and mucky, clearing out the River South Esk.
Let’s see if we can beat last years pile?
Entrance fee applies – Waterproof clothing & Wellingtons – Waders preferable
Duration: 3 Hours
Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Tunnels & Things: Sat 11th Sep
Walk: 2pm – Meet at Stable yard
The Ranger will take you on an exploration of some of the tunnels, follies and old bits of the Estate.
Entrance fee applies – Suitable Clothing Required
Duration: 1 ½ hours
Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Toadstool Trek: Sat 18th Sept
Walk: 2pm – Meet at Stable yard
Our ever popular walk in the woods to collect toadstools and hopefully
Mushrooms.
Entrance fee applies – Suitable clothing required
Duration: 1 ½ hours
Children must be accompanied by an adult.

A Diet of Worms : Sat 19th  Sept
Walk: 2pm – Meet at Stable yard
Lots of bogles and beasties to be found under the stones, both, in and out of the water.
Entrance fee applies – Suitable clothing required

The Stone Detectives: Mon 20th Sep
Walk: 2pm – Meet at Stable yard
We have lots of buildings on the Estate. Where did the bricks come from to build them?
